With the fast pacing technology new systems are coming in every year – so how do you keep up? With so many options to choose from things can get a little too complicated. To make things easy, here is a list of the top gaming laptops that not only fulfills your gaming needs but also doubles as a workstation.

Alienware m17 R4

“I’ve had the laptop for a week now it’s better than expected. I’ve been able to run war zone on high settings with Ray tracing without any issues. The fans do a good job keeping CPU and GPU cool but I still underclocked and use the TCC feature for a little more in thermal protection. Off battery using the Optimus feature I’m getting 3-4 hours on the batter which is also a bonus. I’ve always wanted an Alienware laptop since I was a kid and this thing doesn’t disappoint. Who needs an Xbox..” — Jorge

Acer Nitro 5

“I love this laptop because it is low priced with very advanced hardware and also has a sleek look to it, I can play games at 100+ fps consistently and also allows mr to take care of my work/daily needs, overall this computer is fulfilling what I wanted it to do and more I would recommend buying this if looking for a Low Priced but high capacity laptop.” — Customer

ASUS ROG Zephyrus S15

“I bought this laptop for sheer hardcore gaming. The RTX 2070 SUPER paired with the i7-10850h gives amazing performance with good cooling for the specs. My GPU usually hangs around 72⁰ while the CPU gets more toasty, at about 84⁰. I haven’t noticed any thermal throttling yet, so that’s a plus. The build quality is pretty good, metal lid, hard plastic interior. Doesn’t feel cheap. I would recommend this for anyone who has the money over other branded laptops with similar specs.” — Emre

Razer Blade 15

“This laptop is amazing. From the looks to how it performs. The keyboard doesn’t travel as deep when you push the keys compared to other laptops I have used. However they feel nice to type on. Also I really like the color profiles in synapse. I’m getting great battery life with power saving settings. I’m getting around 5 -6 hours. When I’m plugged into the wall and I have the fans all the way up and the cpu and gpu are on high. I was getting around 130-150 FPS in death stranding, With the settings all the way up in the game. It looked amazing and performed great. Overall, I’m happy I got this laptop.” — Nick

Acer Predator Helios 30

“I’ve been searching for a new gaming laptop to replace my outdated one. Most I found that had the same specs or worse, were way more expensive. This is very price friendly and is packed with plenty and more!! It’s so fast (gaming, download speeds, general use, etc.) I’m not disappointed at all. So far, it can play all my games at ultra (Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, etc.) Best laptop I’ve ever had.” — Raven

Lenovo – IdeaPad L340 15

“Terrific laptop for the price. There being a shortage on graphics cards for desktops this is a good gaming and productivity machine. It’s relatively fast and responsive, the backlit keyboard is a nice touch. Overall I like it, I’m not going to spend and go all out on a laptop anymore, this works. I’d rather spend more on a desktop if I need a lot more power.” — Aleem

ASUS TUF Gaming F17

“This laptop can play most of the games I play, albeit not at the settings my desktop can run, but to be able to be portable and play most games at great settings right out of the box, and be under $1k is a great deal. After playing a good amount, and observing resource management, purchasing an extra stick of RAM might be necessary, but outside of that it is getting the job done. Doesn’t get as hot as it would after gaming for hours too, so great heat dispersion.” — Raymond

Dell Gaming G15

“Best laptop I have owned. A lot of tech for the money. Runs smoothly no matter the task. Games like Microsoft Flight Sim and Halo run great. I don’t find that it gets too hot. Fans spin up, but that is expected. Beautiful screen. I had low expectations here, so surprised. Movies look amazing. Very user upgradable. I added a second HD (1 TB). I upgraded to 32G RAM. Super easy. Battery life is just ok, but didn’t expect too much from a gaming laptop. Keyboard and backlight is nice. Dell software for updates and maintenance is a nice plus. Alien Software also a nice surprise,. Laptop is nice just for web browsing, personal/business work and when want to play games it performs. Highly recommended. I like the design. Plenty of ports and I find they are well placed.” — Carlon

Razer Blade Stealth 13 Ultrabook

“Top notch product with perfect finishing touch. Every detail of the CNC aluminum chassis fit perfectly. The screen color is even better compare to a dell u2414h. Light and thin for easy traveling for work and powerful enough for light gaming at anywhere. I owned a Blade Stealth 2016 then I replace it with a XPS13, HP envy13 then lenovo 530s but those laptops all lacking something that I decided to sell after a few month. Finally I come back to Razer and bought this beauty last month. The moment it arrived I knew that it would be my trusted companion for some next few years.” — Valliena

Lenovo Legion 5

“Not gonna lie, was totally prepared for buyer’s remorse after snatching this up the day it came back in stock. So far I’ve had it two days and I’m in love. Low profile, portable, doesn’t look like a spaceship. Colors pop beautifully on the screen and games are very fluid if you can push high fps, which the Legion can definitely do if not at max settings with demanding games. Added a second NVMe and it’s pretty much perfect for what I wanted. With some basic OC benchmarks way better than I expected. Over 70% for gaming on pcbenchmark. Runs very quiet and good temps under full load.” — Arcadeus
