I was able to avoid surgery on my two herniated cervical disks, and this cervical pillow seems to fit the curve in my neck very comfortably. It has a nice gradual slope both up and down for my neck and it seems to be a good overall height for the curve in my neck. “When the pillow arrived in its small tubular sack I was confused as to how it was a king size pillow with medium fill…..it was supposed to be fluffy and full. When I pulled it out of its tube it was in 3 square forms with gaps in between each square. I thought oh man I’m returning this and set it aside. Well about 5 hours later I looked at it and it grew, big and puffy. I was amazed. Been using it for 3 nights now and so far I love it. I suffer from neck pain and that’s why I bought it, it feels great on my neck even when I lay on my side. I recommend this pillow for anyone suffering from neck pain. I had a pillow similar before buying this one and it worked great for a while but I have wider shoulders and I’m a side sleeper so there was still too much space between where my neck should’ve been and where the pillow went. This pillow is perfect for me. It’s 100% supportive with my wider shoulders and even if you don’t have wide shoulders, you can adjust the height of the pillow. When I first looked at this, it made it seem like there was a black piece inside the pillow that could be removed, that is NOT the case. The pillow actually has 3 layers equal in size, so if all of them together is too much you can remove a layer, if 2 is still too much, you can bring it down to 1 layer. And it is BEYOND comfortable. It’s soft, but not so soft that your head sinks down to the bed. With just 3 nights of using it, I can already feel a huge difference in my neck and I’m no longer waking up with a stiff neck.
